Sega Game Gear

The Sega Game Gear is a handheld video game console developed by Sega and released in late 1990 as a response to Nintendo's Game Boy handheld. It is a full colour console and was Sega's first attempt to compete in the handheld games market. The handheld shares much of its hardware with the Sega Master System and is able to play its own titles as well as those of the Master System, the latter being made possible by the use of an adapter.
